A faster parallel port will only increase the rate that the data is
sent to the printer. Although this may free up some processor time,
most of the delay when printing from the Amiga and particulary when
printing in high resolutions from the likes of Wordworth, is in
generating the graphics to be sent to the printer.
You will be able to increase speed by lowering the resolution (in the
application) but of course you then have a quality loss. Make sure if
you're not printing grahics that you select black and white printing
in the application.
Graphics publisher is pretty nippy if you're printing pictures.
If you want multiple copies of a single page then change "GFX Copies
in the Turboprefs Prefs" as this'll use the already generated
information for the next copies rather than have WW (for example)
generate the same page over and over, dramatically increasing output
speed.
Avoid large landscape tables in Wordworth :)
